Since I can remember, I’ve always loved to write song lyrics, poems, and random notes. Growing up, I used writing as an outlet, and whether it was the highs or lows of my life happening, there it was again… my thoughts on a page.

As I got older, I noticed things I loved to write, weren’t so “fun” to others, and often heard, “you should write a book”! And while that is never out of the question, I knew I had a huge collection of thoughts to bring to life, in one place. I wanted a “hub” of living-breathing “words” that would speak to others and inspire them in their own life.

This blog is a collection of all the bits and pieces of my heart. It is as if every single life experience and moment has led to this place!

My hope is that it is a RESOURCE for others who want to go after their own dreams and dare to live them out!

Maybe it’s Monday and you need some Motivation… or a Truth Talk Tuesday…or maybe just a break with a self care “how-to” to get you through the week. But then, wait! You need a laugh? We can share those too.
And when you cry, we will be here with tissues and a dessert recipe or two to get you through.

Don’t wait another day to find it, or another day to “be happy when…” because it’s about being happy NOW. 

My “dream” day has evolved over the years as I’m sure it will continue to. That’s the beautiful part of your dreams! You can change them, stretch them, grow them into even more…

For me, I’m happiest when my toes are in the sand and the sunshine is beaming down from clear skies. I can hear the waves crash between the laughter of my husband and kids. There’s early morning walks along the water, buckets of watermelon, banana, and papaya to eat, and night-hunting for crawfish or frisbee toss. Then, I’m awake staring late into the stars, sitting around the fire, writing a song, and talking to God. Grateful. 

Hah! This one is easy. 

I’d have told her she was beautiful exactly how she is, and smarter-stronger-braver-more powerful than she could even imagine. 
I’d have told her that her purpose will come in it’s time and to stress less and pause more. 

I’d tell her that all she is feeling will pass, and that life will be nothing like she imagined, in a good way! Oh, and I’d tell her she was going to be a GIRL Mom. I’d tell her so many things. Of course, she wouldn’t have listen, but I’d tell her anyway.
